I forgot to pick up my Orthodox calendar this year. Anyone know when Easter is?

Fri, April 1, 2005 - 5:45 PMActually, I found out this past week that Orthodox Easter is next month. Seems it coincides with Passover this year. I forgot that Orthodoxy follows the Julian Calendar and also factors in when Judaism celebrates Passover. -

If i recall correctly, the Julian Calendar was in effect for a lot longer time, than the current calendar we use today. -

Sat, April 2, 2005 - 6:17 PMI was raised Catholic and recently became Orthodox, I was surprised to see such a split this year in the calendar, another month without meat! I was a vegetarian for four years but this particular fast seems hard for some reason.
